A Message from the Founder

Dear Friends, Partners, and Visitors,
It is with great pleasure that I welcome you to the Green House Resource Centre (GHRC), a registered Nigerian non-governmental, non-profit, and non-political organisation committed to advancing social protection, responsible innovation, research, public policy, community empowerment, and sustainable development.
GHRC was founded on a simple but powerful belief: every individual deserves the opportunity to live with dignity, security, and hope. Our work is inspired by the timeless principle of caring for "the least of our brethren," recognising that the true measure of a society lies in how it protects its most vulnerable people.
Nigeria is a nation blessed with abundant human and natural resources, yet many Nigerians continue to face poverty, unemployment, food insecurity, inadequate healthcare, and governance challenges. At the same time, rapid advances in AI, biotechnology, and digital innovation are transforming societies. These developments present tremendous opportunities, but they also require responsible governance.
Our mandate is to advance sustainable human development in Nigeria by protecting vulnerable populations, strengthening communities, promoting responsible innovation, supporting evidence-based public policy, and building strategic partnerships that improve lives and create lasting impact.
Together, we can build a Nigeria where no one is left behind, innovation serves the public good, and sustainable development becomes a shared reality.
Whether you are a policymaker, researcher, development practitioner, donor, corporate organisation, volunteer, student, or citizen committed to positive change, there is a place for you at Green House Resource Centre.
I warmly welcome you to the Green House Resource Centre family.
