About Green House Resource Centre
Who we are, why we exist, and what drives our work
Who We Are
Green House Resource Centre (GHRC) is a registered non-governmental, non-profit, and non-political organisation incorporated under the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) of the Federal Republic of Nigeria as an Incorporated Trustee in August 2018.
GHRC was established to improve the quality of life of vulnerable and underserved populations through social protection, entrepreneurship, education, capacity development, humanitarian action, and strategic partnerships.
Today, GHRC has expanded its mandate to address Nigeria's evolving social, economic, governance, and technological challenges through research, policy engagement, responsible innovation, and sustainable community development.
Why We Exist
Nigeria is endowed with immense human potential yet millions face poverty, unemployment, food insecurity, weak social protection, and unequal access to education and healthcare.
Rapid advances in AI, biotechnology, and digital technologies are reshaping society — these require ethical governance to ensure they benefit all Nigerians.
GHRC exists to address these interconnected challenges through practical, evidence-based, and people-centred solutions.
Where we are going
To build a Nigeria where people thrive, institutions are accountable, innovation serves society, and sustainable development creates opportunities for all.
How we get there
To advance sustainable human development in Nigeria through social protection, research, responsible innovation, evidence-based public policy, capacity development, and strategic partnerships that improve lives, strengthen institutions, and build resilient communities.
